More than 50 dentists and their families attended the Indo-Canadian Dental Association’s celebration of Diwali on October 14 at Maharaj Banquet Hall in Surrey, organized by Dr. Jatinder Riar, Dr. Lana Vora and Dr. Rowena Sooch. Dr. Arjang Nowtash, owner / president of Sinclair Dental, and Malkit Jhand, owner / president of Goldmine Insurance were the major sponsors of the event. Dr. Harinder Dhanju says the mission of the Indo-Canadian Dental Association is to provide a platform where dental professionals of Indian heritage can come together to connect, socialize, and serve greater purposes such as raising funds to conquer oral cancer and keep the richness of our culture alive to pass it on to the next generation.
